Said number is actually the sum total of the magic square of the Sun, not that of Saturn’s square.

A number of linoleum tiles, which are generally called the Toynbee tiles, were created by an unknown Artist, who set about embedding the tiles within the asphalt of various streets, which soon become a successful viral-meme advertising campaign during the early 80’s. There is the distinct possibility that the Toynbee tiles had in part, influenced, the 2015 space opera, entitled, Jupiter Ascending, which was written, produced, and directed by The Wachowskis, who had prior created the highly influential Matrix trilogy.

Back in 1992, an inquisitive individual in Philadelphia, going by the name of Bill O’Neill started to notice the tiles, which had been randomly embedded in local roads.

The tiles were generally about the size of an American license plate, and each had some variation of the same strange message: “TOYNBEE IDEA IN KUBRICK’s 2001 RESURRECT DEAD ON PLANET JUPITER.”

As you will probably know, Stanley Kubrick’s film, 2001: a Space Odyssey is based upon the novel by Arthur C. Clarke. In Clarke’s novel, a black monolith (or Cube, which is symbolically associated with the eight-legged-mare/trance horse of the shaman, likened to a psychic TARDIS) was placed on Saturn’s Death Star looking moon, called Iapetus.

The monolith (Cube/eight-legged-mare) allows ingress into a vaginal star barreled (NDE tunnel) portal, you could see as a (Yoni) wormhole, leading to another space and time, via which the protagonist travels through, just like the ancient shamans did, who to have conjured ‘feline’ (Succubi/Succubae) Dakinis when to ‘quantum dream,’ wherein to lucidly remote view ‘honeycombed’ fractal futures beckoning back through time.

However, in the movie adaptation, the final destination of Saturn was transformed into Jupiter because of the then technical problems, since it was extremely difficult to create a convincing looking Cabbalistic model of planetary Binah sphere Saturn with its iconic Lord Of The… Rings, back in 1968.

So, 46 years later in the 2011 science fiction film, Interstellar, its director Chris Nolan, having at his architect disposal a Masonic VFX crew and state-of-the-art CG technology, created the beautiful CGI imagery of Saturn in order to ‘square its ‘circular’ rings.’

Nolan then depicted the Saturn opening of a vaginal portal where Clarke had intutively envisioned its (Sexagram/Hexagram) Chronos technology.

As for the Toynbee tiles, they varied a bit in colour and arrangement, which were all made of an unidentifiable hard substance. Some of the tiles had disturbing footnotes, far darker than the message itself, such as “Murder every journalist, I beg you,” and “Submit. Obey.”

There were other tiles, which may have not been created by the same Artist, whose message was accompanied by lengthy, paranoid diatribes about the news-media, as well as political statements being made.

Bill decided to find out who was creating the tiles, but nobody knew anything about the Artist, or what he or she was attempting to communicate, or whether there was not just one Artist involved, but also others who were also creating tiles, of a viral-meme Happening.

So, Bill decided to create a website devoted to the mysterious tiles, and in doing so, enabled the tiles to become a viral-meme entity spreading its self over the web, and in turn discovering that the tiles were not just a local phenomenon.

Similar Jupiter Ascending tiles have appeared in other US cities, including Washington DC, Pittsburgh, New York City, Baltimore, Boston, and many others. Some have even been discovered in South America, such as Brazil, Argentina, and Chile. There are 130 tiles, which have been found.

The Artist, had managed to embed the tiles into public roads, some of which are busy 24/7, without being Banksy style spotted. The tiles resurrection of the dead Toynbee message refers to Immortality. Believe it or not, there are some scientific theories. which point at the attainment of immortality. These theories involve quantum computers, simulated worlds, and what is called the Omega Point.

For example you have the philosopher Nick Bostrom, who explored the Simulation Hypothesis, which states that, given empirical reasons, at least one of the following must be true:

1: The human species is very likely to go extinct before reaching a “posthuman” stage.

2: Any posthuman civilization is extremely unlikely to run a significant number of simulations of their evolutionary history (or variations thereof).

3: We are almost certainly living in a computer simulation.

Bostrom’s argument indicates that each of the above possibilities is just as likely as the other. And, more likely than not, we are already living within a simulated universe created by a posthuman civilization, which essentially means, that an ancestor simulation equates with the resurrection of the dead. Another example is the theoretical physicist, and cosmologist Frank Tipler, who is intrigued by the Omega Point, whose concept has existed before the creation of the Toynbee tiles.

The term Omega Pont, was first coined by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, back in 1950, the Omega Point is described as being the point at where the universe will reach its peak level of complexity and consciousness.

At this point, humans will theoretically be able to transcend and attain ever higher levels of consciousness as well to have physically evolved into another humanoid form, such as, for example, looking like alien Greys out of UFO lore.

However, Frank Tipler’s idea of the Omega Point is slightly different. Tipler believes that, at a certain point within our own universe, sentient life will eventually dominate the cosmos. Intelligent beings, perhaps posthumans, will have a profound command over science and technology, who are able to control space and time in ways we can hardly imagine.

Like in Bostrom’s hypothesis, Tipler suggests that the computational complexity within the universe will become so great that it will allow for the existence of cosmic simulations. But not just simulations of the universe, but also simulations of everything, which has ever existed, everything that has ever occurred, and everything that ever will occur. Hence, it has already happened.

One of the results of such a simulation you could call the Matrix, would be that everyone who has ever lived or died would be “resurrected,” born again within the simulated universe, a Hindu mystic would term as Maya, which would be ‘eternally recurring,’ whose simulations are like Schrödinger’s Cat.

As for the symbolic utilisation of the planet Jupiter in the Toynbee tiles, you could imaginatively see it as being an occult blind, which points at Jupiter’s ancient esoteric association with the number four, and that of a fourth civilisation upon the Kardashev scale.

The Kardashev scale is used as a method of measuring a civilization’s level of technological advancement, which is based upon the amount of energy a civilization would be able to use for communication. The Kardashev scale usually has three designated categories:

1: A Type I civilisation (also called a planetary civilisation) can use and store energy which reaches its planet from a neighbouring star.

2: A Type II civilisation can harness the energy of the entire star (the most popular hypothetical concept being the Dyson sphere—a device which encompasses the entire star, transferring its energy to the planet(s) in its surrounding system.

3: A Type III civilisation can control energy on the scale of its entire host galaxy.

However, Should you apply the same esoteric symbolism to the number 3, you then have the association with planet Saturn, the ancient Greek’s called Chronos. The name of Chronos means, ‘time,’ leading thence to ‘communication’ across time, and time-travel, as depicted in the aforementioned film, Intersteller, which features the planet Saturn and an astronaut haunting his own past as a poltergeist.

3: A Type III civilisation would have the technological ability to engineer a planet, which has certain intrinsic properties of a vortex, twisting both space and time to become their TARDIS time-machine via whose Chronos portal a Type III civilization could send a space station the size of Iapetus, back into the past.

The Type III civilisation will also be able to easily send a Chronos signal, back into the past, in order to influence the electron dreams of certain individuals throughout history, who might communicate that they have experienced accessing an NDE tunnel prior to contacting another intelligence, let alone being abducted by entities at the point of hypnagogic trance ingress into a lucid dream; or to have otherwise intuitively tapped into what is going on, which is then symbolically communicated in varying mythologies, entering unto the media of varying interconnected science fiction scenarios, whose surrealist symbolism is that of a… Chronos Code.

4: Should you extend the Kardashev scale further, a Type IV Omega Point civilisation can control the energy of the entire universe, which is an ‘Eternally Recurring Simulation.’ But it is not the only simulated Maya universe, there are a myriad number of other Maya simulations; whereupon you have the Many World theory of the multiverse. If the multiverse is indeed made up of interconnected Maya simulations, you might just have ‘feline’ Sexagram Cylons frequenting the virtual reality of the quantum dream as its sentient Dakini programs.

Wherefore, if there is indeed a cover-up going on concerning evidence pertaining to another civilisation, which surrounds your own, just as your civilisation surrounds an unknowing stone age tribe amidst the Amazon jungle, it is probably because the other civilisation is the creation of your future descendants, who have time-travel capability, which enables them to journey to the far distant stars, let alone observing their own ancestors. Hence, they are protecting their own past, just as your present civilisation has taken measures to protect a stone age tribe in the Amazon from knowing about your civilisation.

But, their protective measures involving a few contacted agents who police the past, can only be sustained for a time; whence, there will be an eventual ‘Childhood’s End’ point of a technological ‘singularity,’ which invariably occurs of a ‘recurrence.’

Mephistophina has in her hand a Coitus Pactum union with his ‘Anima,’ whereupon Faustus wins back his Soul, which had been initially enslaved by the ‘Animus’ fixation of the brainwashed masses.

In ancient cultures the Soul of an individual was seen to be of the opposite gender to the person it was connected to.

Hence, Faustus’s Fallen ‘Anima,’ of a Mephistophina is a Succubus emanation of his Soul, around whom be the Zodiac circled decan legions of (Succubae) Succubi Great Old Ones, whose Fallen archetypes frequent the grimoire dream.

However, the herd mind of the masses is none too pleased by Faustus’s Entartete Kunst rebellion against their ‘Animus’ fixation of an all pervading symbolic ‘Matrix,’ which is considered to be very politically incorrect. 


Faustus cares not; for his Fallen ‘Anima’ of a Soul is free from the ‘Animus’ cultists brainwashing incarceration, who seek to imprison all within their New World Order feudal Kingdom of an Orwellian heaven on Earth, over-lorded by Beta-Male Good-Guy Messiah, King and Prophet, who be too their Alpha-Male Bad-Boy Prince of darkness.

Faustus to say, “if only the Witches had learnt to control their own ‘Animus,’ of a patriarchal All-Father fixation, whose externalised centralist politics is very jealous indeed; then the world would have been a very different place, by now of a Zodiac Age. Alas, the Witches far prefer being Oprah Winfrey ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ dominated by their own ‘Animus,’ to deify of three gender fixated religions out of Ur’s ziggurat.” 

Faustus to continue, “they still haven’t figured out that their three ‘Animus’ fixated religions are the real Illuminati, whose trinity of a pyramidal triangle is actually the oily ziggurat of petrodollar Ur, amidst which be the Big-Brother Eye of their Orwellian All-Father.Little wonder then that Faustus is considered to be politically incorrect, whose Sorcery Art is seen to be Entartete Kunst.

Wherefore the depicted scene of the Artwork goes far beyond Marlowe’s and Goethe’s version of Faust, and his Mephistopheles of a deified ‘Animus’, made as a God/Devil.

The Artwork is available as an Art print, and a shirt design, etc, from my Redbubble shop, depicting salacious visitors from inner space, the American Journalist, John Alva Keel termed as being Ultraterrestrials.

The Artwork specifically depicts the Twenty-Ninth spirit named, Astaroth, being conjured amidst the Triangle Of Art imagination, who is listed in the medieval Playgirl grimoire, entitled the Goetia. 

However, the name of Astaroth was originally derived from the Mesopotamian Sex Goddess called Astarte, whose symbolic affinity is more that of a politically incorrect Playboy grimoire, of a banned Necronomicon.

The Sumerian’s and Babylonian’s knew Astarte as Ishtar, the ancient Greek’s named, Aphrodite, the Roman’s to call Venus, which of a planetary sphere colour is Green.

Astarte means, Queen Of Heaven, which leads you to the term, “Seventh Heaven.” Her ‘Anima’ archetype can be easily equated with an inter-dimensional/interstellar space chick, looking like a hottie Barbarella, or a hot Cylon Number (Sexagram) Six, let alone a really hot Stella Star, as featured in the science fiction film, Starcrash.

But then Astaroth is said to communicate how the Fallen ‘Anima’ to have Star-Crashed, whose name can also be written as ‘A-Star-Hot,’ A Hot Star, or alternatively a Hot Planet; Venus is definitely Hellishly ‘Hot,’ glowing like a fiery Star, far hotter than Mars. Somewhat of a new take on, ‘Women Come From Venus.’

However, the closeted Playgirl grimoires, of an ‘Animus’ fixation. which primarily list male entities, describe her as being a male Demon suffering from a bad case of halitosis, which is somewhat laughable.

Astaroth, whose name is also written as Ashtaroth evolved into becoming a UFO cult icon, named, Ashtar, of Star Command. Hence the play on words concerning, “I Want To Believe,” which was used on a now iconic poster prop, as depicted in the science fiction TV series, X-Files. 

Curiously, the ‘X’ is also that of the ‘Seventh Rune,’ called ‘Gebo,’ which correlates with the Hebrew letter ‘Gimel’ and the English letter ‘G’ as used in Freemasonry; it’s a ‘Seventh (Chakra) Seal’ of a ‘Seventh Secret’ never to be Magpie told, the self-appointed elite do not want to ever tell the general public about.

The Seventh (X marks the treasure spot) Rune (X/Crossbones) represents hypnagogic trance (Skull/little death/The Phase) and erotic ingress into dreaming, which of an introversion of your five senses, represented as an inverse Pentagram leads you to experiencing a Sixth-Sense (symbolised by the Sexagram/hexagram) ‘lucid dream.’

Ashtar (sometimes called Ashtar Sheran) is the name given to an extraterrestrial Nordic looking male or group of similar Ultraterrestrials, some people claim to have channelled through their brainwashed ‘Animus’ ridden brains since the Roswell incident, involving a probable WII German flying wing, and George Adamski’s Project Blue Book visitations from eugenic Aryan (Nordics) aliens.

Goetia Girls: UFO Vril Girl by GHOSTCROW1

Many ancient traditions speak of an inner light, which is usually experienced within dreams. The shamans know it as the fire in the head, which is known by other names, such as Mana, Chi, Odic force, Orgone energy, etc, or even by the term, Vril.


The inner light could be the Bio-Photon, which emanates from within the Mitochondrial DNA like that of a (black Sun) laser. The Mitochondria within each of your cells ‘determines the energy output the cell.’ The mitochondria also has microtubules, which act like mini-onboard quantum computers, making calculations upon the spin of an ‘electron.’

The Mitochondrial DNA is passed down from the ‘Mother’ to her children; wherefore, at an intuitive level, many a shaman had determined that the (bio-photon) inner light, which animates the characters (spirits) and scenarios (spirit worlds) within his/her informational dreams and visions has a (Mitochondrial DNA) female source.

There is the distinct possibility that the Mitochondrial DNA, is communicating with other Mitochondrial DNA, which occupies the cells of other life-forms via an interconnected web of light, being the Bio-Photon.

If such is indeed the case, then a shaman who can consciously dream will be able to access his/her Bio-Photon illuminated dreams of a vast web of information concerning other life-forms, and that of creation, to ‘browse’ of an inner internet.

Wherefore, a shaman will have to learn the right (key-words) songs in order to conjure up what he/she desires to access, such as a Spirit (symbol) of an anthropomorphic (Succubus) Jaguar, who represents all Jaguars within his/her Bio-Photon dreams of spun electrons.

If your Mitochondrial DNA is communicating with other Mitochondrial DNA occupying the cells of other numerous life-forms; then your Bio-Photon illuminated dreams would be very much like the ‘Internet,’ which can be ‘Browsed’ when you become lucid within the dream.

It just so happens the physicist James Gates has discovered computer code in superstring theory, which is the same code used in ‘Browsers.’

His discovery might be indicative of how your consciousness at another level ‘browses’ the vast informational web, which of an ‘informational associative’ process can be consciously observed within your electron dreams.

If there is indeed a vast informational web interconnecting all creation then you have a Psychic Connection.

When this Psychic Connection is investigated by science, it will no doubt lead to the development of a technology based upon the understanding of how consciousness works.

Space and time are indivisible to consciousness; whereby, if the scientists have come to an understanding of consciousness, to also crack the space-time problem, they will also have time travel capability.

Although, if they were to discover that you are living within a computer simulation, which has been created by your far flung future descendants, of similarity to the Matrix science fiction films, your future descendants would be able to ‘browse’ any point in history, which would be a form of time travel.

Maybe the technology of your future descendants will be based upon the research of the theoretical Physicist, Dr Jack Sarfatti who is investigating the Q-Chip, which is modelled on human brain cells.

The Q-Chip, will be consciously self aware like Dr Who’s TARDIS.

When the theorised Q-Chip is implanted into the brain, it would allow a future individual to access any point in history, which would be experienced of similarity to a computer ‘simulation.’

But what if the Q-Chip already exists, being the Mitochondria, whose Mitochondrial DNA, and quantum computing microtubules is generating the virtual realities of your electron dreams.

This appears to be pointed at by the ‘missing equation’ James Gates has discovered, which may have been referred to by Lockheed Skunk Works chief Ben Rich concerning how a (TARDIS) UFO works.

But such would indicate that you are indeed living within a simulation.

Should you then engage in a mind experiment, to entertain a science fiction scenario of a future intelligence outside of the Matrix communicating its self to the simulations within the simulation.

It might just create geometric anomalies to appear upon the planets, such as Arthur C. Clarke’s Saturn for example, the ancient Greek’s knew as Chronos, who was their Dr Who Time Lord.

The ancient Hindu mystics had previously termed the simulation as being Maya, which they saw as being female of a ‘light’ source intelligence.

The writer H.P Lovecraft very likely experienced night terrors, otherwise termed as the Old Hag Syndrome when he was a child, which inspired the creation of his monstrous Nightgaunts.

The experience of the Old Hag Syndrome involves an individual experiencing involuntary sleep paralysis, which leads to a sensation of a growing pressure upon the body as well as strangulation, along with being afflicted with terrifying hallucinations.

The initial phase of the experience often involves the sensation of an intrusive presence entering the room at the point of sleep paralysis; whereupon an individual experiencing this invisible presence around him/her feels utterly helpless.

The individual will sometimes experience hearing the creeping of echoing footsteps of the approaching entity before the intrusive presence leaps upon him/her, or to sweep down like some kind of predatory creature blown in on a wind, which leads to a mounting pressure upon the body, usually on the chest area, solar-plexus or navel area.

Sometimes, other sensations are experienced, which is interpreted as being a sexual violation. As the individual becomes absolutely terrified the pressure upon the body mounts in increasing magnitude to the point he/she may also sense being strangled by the presence.

As the fear mounts, the individual might see the presence take on a distinct form, which often looks to be quite monstrous of a usual humanoid form looking like an old Hag; although it can also take on animal or hybrid forms as well, or even to appear, looking like some alien.


In very rare cases this experience of an ‘amphibious’ state of (hypnagogic) consciousness can lead to an out-of-body-experience, or otherwise described astral journey into a vivid lucid dream, whose content will be determined by the individual’s interaction with the presence during the initial phase of the experience.

Lovecraft appears to have attained an out-of-body-experience, which had been induced by his Old Hag Syndrome visitations, which later inspired the creation of his Nightgaunts in the Cthulhu Mythos.

These creatures appear in Lovecraft’s poem, Night-Gaunts as well as his surrealist novella The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath.


Lovecraft describes his Nightgaunts as having a vaguely human shape, who are thin, black, and faceless. He also describes the texture of their skin as being slick and rubbery. The Nightgaunts are also described as having a pair of inward-facing horns atop of their heads with clawed hands and a long barbed tail which is used to tickle their victims into submission. They can fly using a set of membranous wings who make no sound.


The Nightgaunts are associated with one of the Cthulhu Mythos’ deities in Lovecraft’s writings, notably, in his story ‘The Strange High House in the Mist,’ lists them as being the servants of Nodens, Lord of the Great Abyss, (a relatively benevolent entity, although still an incredibly alien intelligence among Lovecraft’s pantheon).

The Great Abyss refers to the Cabbalistic hidden sphere of Da’at, which is associated with the reptilian brainstem of the throat area.

Hence the acute sensation of strangulation, which is to do with the activation of the Reticular-Activation-System; whereas the pressure upon the body is associated with the Autonomic-Nervous-System.

However, the experience of strangulation and the associated pressure upon the body can be overcome if the individual does not fear the visitation of the entity, which is then otherwise transformed of an experienced manifestation; whereupon for a heterosexual male it can manifest as a Succubus.


A Succubus is usually seen to be a female demon or a supernatural entity in folklore, which can be traced back to medieval legend. The Succubus appears in vivid lucid dreams in the form of a human woman in order to seduce men, usually through a sexual interaction, which can lead to an out-of-body-experience.

However, the Succubus is usually seen to be rather negative due to a very peculiar religious indoctrination, which has negated sexuality and in turn the feminine (Anima) principle from the spiritual equation.


The Succubus In German folklore is otherwise called, a Drude (pl. Druden) Other names for Drudes include Trutmahr (“Nightmare”) and Walriderske. Drudes typically take on the form of an ugly, old, withered woman, who is, at the same time, very heavy. This old woman creeps into homes at night through the smallest of cracks and openings. Once in the room, the Drude sits upon the person’s chest. Drudes are also shape-shifters and can appear as feathers, clouds of smoke, bumblebees, snakes, toads, dogs or cats.


According to old German belief, Drudes are virgin Witches who have the ability, to split off a Drude from their spirit. This was known as the Drudenfluch or ‘Drude’s curse.’ Sometimes they voluntarily chose to do so, while in other cases it is forced upon them. Although this can have either a benevolent or malevolent effect on others around them.

Women suffering from the Drude’s curse will keep this a secret from their fellow human beings. The only way to free themselves from the curse is by being given a very tame and important domestic animal to pass the Drude onto, which kills the animal in the process. It was believed that amongst seven daughters there would be one Drude.


In elder European lore the Drude was also called an Elf (Alp/Alb) or a Kobold (a Dwarf/Hag), basically the Elves and Dwarves were originally seen to be all female entities.

The Drude are very much associated with inducing the Old Hag Syndrome, which of an experience inspired the word ‘nightmare,’ as in ‘night’ and ‘mare.’ The motif of the mare represents the increasing pressure upon the body, but the mare can also be ridden by a shaman.


A Drude is always female but it is often confused with the Trude, a half-human, half-birdlike being, which shares some features with the Drudes. The term Trude or Trut is thought to be derived from the Middle High German word Trut or the Gothic word mini Trut, both in the sense of, to be Trut. Supporting this are names for Drudes, which are also based on the root to Trut from the Alpine region such as Trut or Romansh Trut and a Bavarian word for a wizard, Truderer.


The Truderer (wizard/sorcerer or shaman) is in fact the Trude who has the ability to conjure up the Drudes as his Succubae.

The (Succubae) Drudes enable the Truderer’s spirit to travel out of his body to fly ecstatic like a ‘bird’ across space and time via an ‘internal’ vaginal-star-barrelled-portal travelled through of a Stargate, which  is associated with a particular (Witch) Succubus, who has been conjured by the Truderer from within his lucid dream.

Whereupon you have the half-birdlike being of the Trude. The Truderer conjures up the Drudes amidst a Hexagram, which is otherwise called the Hex-sign or Sexagram whose number ‘six’ of a six pointed star is traditionally seen to be associated with sex, being that of the Coitus Pactum union of a Truderer and a Drude.


The conjuration of the Drudes is of similarity to the techniques used in Western ‘Ritual Magic,’ which enables the Truderer to ride the Drudes as his Nightgaunt night-Mares just as Lovecraft described his Nightgaunts as being used as steeds by the ghouls of the deeper dreamlands.

The symbolism of the mare is associated with the shamans trance horse, which the Mongolian Kams (shamans) call the Himmori, the Tibetan’s call the Lung-ta, Wind-Horse. The Himmori represents the power of trance, which is seen to reside within the chest area of your heart (Central-Nervous-System). Whereupon you have the pressure upon the chest when experiencing sleep paralysis, of an initial phase of trance ingress, which is technically termed as the hypnagogic state.

The experience of trance can be quite terrifying to the uninitiated whose fear will block them from attaining internal ingress into the dream; whereupon, the fear has to be overcome. This understanding led to spiritual techniques being devised by shamans, which revolved around the initial ritualistic conjuring of female entities, the Tibetan’s call Dakinis who are otherwise known as Druden in German folklore.


Basically, the technique involved introverting the sexual impulse in order to transform the terror of trance ingress. The reason why an individual experiences acute terror when attaining trance is because the physical body as well as the ego instinctively reacts to the possibility of its demise. Once the fear has been ‘reined’ in by the shaman, he can then ride the Dakini as his mare into far deeper levels of the dream.

The folklore concerning the Drude is especially prevalent in Southern Germany, where the Druden are also seen to be Valkyries who are the Witch wives of the shamanic deity called Woden (Norse: Odin) Lovecraft otherwise called Nodens. The Druden are said to participate in the Wild Hunt like Lovecraft’s Nightgaunts, who were seen to be a particular class of Demon in Alfonso de Spina’s hierarchy; but what do you expect, Spina was a Christian. The word Druden also came to be used as a generic term for a ‘Witch’ during the 16th century.


The Drudenfuss literally ‘Drude’s foot,’ also Alpfuss, Elf’s foot, is Lovecraft’s Elder Sign of a pentagram, which is believed to ward off (Necronomicon) Demons, as explicitly named in Goethe’s Faust (1808). However, the Drudenfuss represents the (Explicate Order) Macrocosm of the waking world when upright and the (Implicate Order) Microcosm of the (spirit world) dream when inverse; whereupon it was believed that the upright pentagram had the power to dispel the creatures of the dream.


The Drudenfuss has been in use since at least the 17th century, which was recorded by Justus Georg Schottelius (as drutenfusz, glossed omnis incolumitatis signum ). Its use is apparently well-recorded in 18th to 19th-century folk beliefs as practiced in Bavaria and the Tyrol.


Drudenfuss is also the German name of the pentagram used as a heraldic device (alternatively Drudenkreuz drude’s cross, elf-foot” or Alpkreuz, elf-cross, besides the more descriptive term of the Pentalpha or Fünfstern.


Another ritualistic item of interest is the Drudenstein (also known as Hascherlit), which is a pebble with a naturally-formed hole in the centre of its (Earth) sphere. The Drudenstein was used as a means to see the Drude when to peer of singular eye through the hole. In Bavaria, such pebbles were hung in rooms, on cradles or in stables to ward off nightmares, or to protect shamans spider mares against matted webbed manes or twisted-helix tails.


A Truderer would use a (phallic) knife called a Drudenmesser or ‘Drude’s knife’ in his conjurations of a Drude, which has nine half moons and crosses on its blade. The Drudenmesser is said to have the power to collapse a whirlwind when needed, which is one of the initial manifestations of a Drude. The knife is thrown into the whirlwind in order to take control over the Drude, who will then become the Truderer’s most loving Ally.


The term Ally was first coined by the anthropologist and author Carlos Castaneda who said that he had been initiated into the practice of sorcery by the Yaqui sorcerer Don Juan Matus.

The Ally is described as being an inorganic-feminine-intelligence, which enables a sorcerer to accomplish his tasks or deeds however pure or unsavoury just like the Truderer of Germanic wizardry.

Don Juan’s teacher was a shaman-sorcerer known as a Diablero, a powerful occult spell-master who is said to have the ability to shape-shift. In his works Castaneda writes that a sorcerer’s power, is ‘unimaginable.’ Castaneda goes on to say in an interview in Time Magazine (March 5, 1973):

“The full use of power can only be acquired with the help of an “Ally”, a spirit entity which attaches itself to the student as a guide. The Ally challenges the apprentice when he learns to see. The apprentice may duck this battle. For if he wrestles with the ally – like Jacob with the Angel – and loses, he will, in Don Juan’s slightly enigmatic terms, “be snuffed out.” But if he wins, his reward is “true power the final acquisition of sorcery membership, when all interpretation ceases.”

Some twelve years before the Time magazine article Castaneda wrote in his first book The Teachings Of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way Of Knowledge (1968) from information gathered in the field from Don Juan Matus in 1961:

“The idea that a man of knowledge has an Ally is the most important of the Seven Component Themes, for it is the only one that is indispensable to explaining what a man of knowledge is. In my classificatory scheme a man of knowledge has an Ally, whereas the average man does not, and having an Ally is what makes him different from ordinary men.” 

An Ally is a power, which is capable of transporting a man beyond the boundaries of himself; that is to say, an Ally is a power which allows you to transcend the realm of ordinary reality. Consequently, to have an Ally implies having power; and the fact that a man of knowledge has an Ally is by itself proof that the operational goal of the teaching is being fulfilled.


You could thereby determine that Lovecraft’s Nightgaunts are one and the same as the Drude and Don Juan’s Ally, which is a spirit entity that attaches itself to the student. The Old Hag Syndrome is experienced when the Ally challenges the apprentice. However, a student is, not a fully fledged sorcerer or shaman at this point, since the Ally is challenging the apprentice to transform his fear, which the student may never achieve. The apprentice is the one that is challenged, who thereby experiences night-terrors; whereas a fully fledged sorcerer or shaman is otherwise enabled to travel into other realities with the aid of the Ally.


As an aside Don Juan’s name is derived from the mythic character of Don Juan, who is usually portrayed as a wealthy, seductive libertine, whom devotes his life to seducing women; he takes great pride in his ability to seduce females of all ages and stations in life; whereupon Don Juan is used synonymously for a ‘womanizer,’ especially in Spanish slang, and is often utilised in reference to hypersexuality.

The sorcerer Don Juan Matus otherwise seduces the feminine-Inorganic-Intelligence of the Allies, who collects (Drudes) Succubae, which refers to the introversion of the sexual impulse to do so. Whereas Lovecraft admitted that he had big emotional problems concerning the opposite sex, who had an avid dislike for the sexual act due to his puritanical religious upbringing; whereupon his Nightgaunts reflected back his fears, which he was unable to transmute.


This invariably led to a development of a physical condition, which eventually brought about his demise. Lovecraft’s Nightgaunts actually indicated within his dreams, what was to occur, many years before when he was a child. Lovecraft described the Nightgaunts clutching him around the area of his stomach. He was later diagnosed with cancer of the small intestine, and as a result Lovecraft suffered from malnutrition.


He lived in constant pain until his death on March 15, 1937, in Providence. His night-mare born work lives on, which has inspired many to dream beyond the Angel-angles of space-time where Nightgaunt Succubae await sorcerers to chose as their lovers. But, once a Coitus Pactum is knowingly entered into with a Nightgaunt of an Ally, a sorcerer you will become, from which there is No Turning Back!
